It’s October 1st And I Don’t Know What I’m Going To Be For Halloween

I’m having a crisis. I normally have my Halloween costumes planned months in advanced. This has never happened to me and I’m ashamed. What the f*ck  should I be for Halloween?

First things first, I need plans.

Halloween is on a Wednesday. Obviously, I’m still going to celebrate- but where do I go? Out? A house party? I need answers! Second, what do I dress up as? A mermaid? Done that. Skeleton? Done that. Cat? Have definitely done that. I don’t want to dress up as something super basic… but I may have to given my time crunch.

This is a real dilemma. Outfits are going to sell out, and I’m going to end up with a whack costume. I. Need. Ideas. This has never happened to me. I’m always so inspired and know exactly what I want to dress up as. Why am I having a block?

Halloween is my absolute favorite holiday (besides Christmas, obviously). Halloween season kick-starts the holiday season, which is impossible to not love. I love October, and I love Fall! It’s really stressing me out that I have no motivation or inspiration for a costume. Feel free to send any suggestions my way. All contributions will be greatly appreciated.

Wishing everyone a happy October. May this month bring you cooler weather (please), happier times, and good company. Enjoy the pumpkin patches (they only come around once a year) and Halloween candy.

Love, your favorite, stressed out Halloween lover,

Nicki G.

P.S. Does anyone else wish it was still acceptable to go trick or treating? The only day of the year where we were allowed to take candy from strangers. Smh. Times have changed.
